IMPC Strategic Conference ‘Insights from the Past, Shaping the Future’

Open in full size

Join us at the IMPC Strategic Conference to hear about the progress and achievements of the IMPC programme to date (Session I), showcase the extent to which the programme has impacted basic and applied biomedical research (Session II) and confirm the value and justification for continuing the KOMP/IMPC programme and solicit suggestions for future directions and priorities from the IMPC network and the scientific community at large (Session III).

The International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium (IMPC) is a global initiative of 21 research institutions working to systematically knock out and analyze every protein-coding gene in the mouse genome. Since 2011, IMPC has provided open-access data on over 9,000 mouse lines and 95,000+ phenotype annotations, helping researchers worldwide identify disease genes, validate drug targets, and explore gene-disease links. Its resources have contributed to nearly 7,500 scientific publications, including 789 cited in clinical studies, driving advances in understanding and treating human diseases.

🔍 Conference Highlights:

  • Session I: Progress & achievements of the IMPC

  • Session II: Impact on basic & applied biomedical research
